Requirements

As Lead Data Scientist in Cardiff, in this role, you will:

  • Lead on the design of data driven solutions and insights to improve the speed, efficiency, and quality of decision-making.
  • Work with technical and non-technical teams to deliver insights to support the business.
  • Build, test and deploy models which will improve and/or automate decision making.
  • Engage with Engineering teams to ensure we capture data points that are relevant and useful for insights and modelling.
  • You will need:

  • Degree in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics).
  • Experience in a research field or applied data field (Min 2 years).
  • Excellent skills in SQL.
  • Experience working with Python applications.
  • Java experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP a plus.
  • Prior leadership experience of data science projects.
